Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and Governor Sindh Nehal Hashmi are set to jointly launch a major youth development initiative in Sindh under the vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The programme is aimed at empowering students, unemployed graduates, and young professionals through education, digital skills, and employment focused projects. According to official programme updates, PMYP has recently expanded its momentum in Sindh with laptop and youth empowerment initiatives, making the province a key focus area.

Rana Mashhood is expected to visit Karachi in the coming days, where he will formally announce the Sindh youth package in collaboration with Governor House. The historic Governor House will be transformed into an operational hub for youth welfare, offering information technology courses, certified diploma and certificate programmes through public universities, laptop distribution, internships, freelancing support, and job readiness training. The initiative is designed to connect Sindh’s youth with Pakistan’s growing digital economy and improve their competitiveness in international job markets.
Governor Sindh Nehal Hashmi said the objective is to move beyond symbolic announcements and provide practical facilities that directly benefit the youth of Sindh. He emphasized that Governor House will function as a public service center where education, skills development, and employment opportunities are made accessible to deserving students and job seekers across the province

Chairman Rana Mashhood stated that the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme is a nationwide initiative and will be implemented in Sindh on a completely non political basis. He said special focus will be placed on digital education, entrepreneurship, sports, and career placement so that young people can receive equal opportunities for growth.
Sindh Coordinator Dr. Fahad Shafiq added that partnerships are being strengthened with universities, industries, and private organizations to ensure trained youth can move directly into employment opportunities. Officials believe this joint effort by Rana Mashhood and Nehal Hashmi will open a new chapter of education, empowerment, and economic progress for Sindh’s younger generation.
