The Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo commemorated the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan Al Marsoos with great national spirit, unity, and patriotic enthusiasm, paying glowing tribute to the courage, professionalism, and sacrifices of Pakistan’s Armed Forces and the resilient people of Pakistan.
The solemn yet inspiring ceremony brought together members of the Pakistani community, diplomats, officials, and distinguished guests who gathered to honor the historic victory that strengthened Pakistan’s sovereignty and reaffirmed the nation’s determination in the face of aggression.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the reading of special messages from the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar. The messages emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to peace, regional stability, and the protection of its territorial integrity. They also highlighted the extraordinary unity displayed by the nation during one of the most significant moments in Pakistan’s recent history.

Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador of Pakistan to Japan, Abdul Hameed, delivered a thoughtful and inspiring address that deeply resonated with the audience. He described Marka-e-Haq as a defining chapter in Pakistan’s national journey, symbolizing courage, preparedness, unity, and resilience. Ambassador Abdul Hameed stated that Pakistan’s response during the conflict reflected not only military strength but also the collective determination of the entire nation.
He praised the exceptional professionalism of Pakistan’s Armed Forces and highlighted how the synchronized response across land, air, maritime, and cyber domains demonstrated Pakistan’s capability as a strong and indomitable state. His remarks reflected both diplomatic wisdom and patriotic conviction, earning appreciation from members of the Pakistani community in Japan.

Ambassador Abdul Hameed also commended the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for guiding the country with political maturity and strategic clarity during a challenging regional situation. He noted that the Prime Minister’s commitment to diplomacy, national unity, and responsible leadership strengthened Pakistan’s image on the global stage.
Special tribute was also paid to Chief of Defence Forces and Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir for his visionary military leadership and strategic foresight. Participants acknowledged that under his command, Pakistan’s Armed Forces demonstrated remarkable preparedness, discipline, and operational excellence, which not only defended the country’s sovereignty but also elevated the morale of the entire nation.


Defense Attaché Air Commodore Amir Mohiuddin briefed the audience on the operational achievements of the Pakistan Air Force during Operation Bunyan Al Marsoos. He highlighted the professionalism, courage, and precision of PAF personnel who successfully defended Pakistan’s airspace and proved the superiority of the country’s defensive capabilities.
The ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s brave soldiers and martyrs who laid down their lives in defense of the homeland. Participants expressed deep respect for the Shuhada and reaffirmed their solidarity with the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
The event concluded with special prayers for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan and for the eternal peace of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The gathering reflected not only patriotism but also the strong emotional bond overseas Pakistanis continue to maintain with their homeland.
