The event brought together an extraordinary gathering of political leaders, diplomats, senior bureaucrats, business executives, and social figures, turning the family celebration into one of Karachi’s most notable high profile social evenings.

Also present was Mr. Masatomo Itonaga, Chief Representative of JETRO, whose participation reflected the deepening economic engagement between Pakistan and Japan.

The evening also offered a rare opportunity for meaningful exchanges on Pakistan’s economic outlook, investment opportunities, and the evolving political landscape, particularly Karachi’s role as a strategic bridge between diplomacy and commerce.

Sources noted that the Ambassador of Japan and several federal ministers were unable to attend due to the ongoing Foreign Ministers’ Conference in Islamabad, though their absence was understood in the context of pressing diplomatic commitments.

The walima was more than a family celebration. It became a remarkable meeting point of Pakistan’s political leadership, diplomatic representatives, and corporate stakeholders, once again demonstrating Karachi’s enduring place as a city where family milestones often intersect with national and international relationships.
