Prominent Leaders of PMLN from Pakistan Ch Shabbir Ahmed Kotla Ex MPA from Gujraat and Ch Ansar Mahmood President PMLN Lawyers wing UK arrived Japan yesterday on Invitation of Senior PMLN member Atique Khan and President PMLN Japan MALIK NOOR AWAN , Huge number of people welcomed both leaders at TOKYO NARITA INTERNATIONAL Airport.

PMLN President Malik Noor Awan said that Ch Shabbir Ahmed Kotla is a prominent Pakistani politician affiliated with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). He has served as a Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) representing constituencies in the Gujrat district. Known for his active involvement in regional development, he has engaged in various projects, particularly related to healthcare and infrastructure. He has also maintained connections with key party leaders, including Nawaz Sharif, to strengthen his political influence in the area .

Chaudhry Ansar Mahmood, that Ch Ansar is UK-based lawyer, is associated with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and has played a role in supporting legal matters concerning Nawaz Sharif and his family. Mahmood has been part of legal efforts defending Nawaz Sharif’s position during his stay in London, particularly regarding cases involving the Avenfield properties and other corruption allegations brought against Sharif by Pakistan’s National Accountability Bureau (NAB). These cases have drawn significant international attention, particularly in the UK courts, where legal disputes have arisen over the ownership and alleged misuse of assets such as the Avenfield flats in London .

Nawaz Sharif, who returned to Pakistan in late 2023 after years in London, faced convictions in corruption cases but has sought appeals in Pakistan’s courts to challenge these rulings. Lawyers like Mahmood have worked to address both Sharif’s legal challenges and the broader narrative surrounding his exile and return .
