Deputy Chairman Senate of Pakistan Syedaal Khan hosted a dinner at his residence in Ministers’ Enclave, Islamabad, which was attended by distinguished personalities from political, parliamentary, and social circles. Among the participants were former Prime Minister Senator Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, Senator Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman, Senator Haji Hidayatullah, Senator Maulana Darwish, Provincial Minister Abdul Rehman Khetran, members of the provincial leadership, and a significant number of senior journalists.


The Deputy Chairman Senate hosted the dinner in his personal capacity.
During the dinner, detailed discussions were held on the overall national situation, including internal stability, economic challenges, Pakistan’s role in the regional and global context, and matters related to public welfare. The participants emphasized that, in the current circumstances, national unity, effective governance, and coordinated policymaking are essential.


On this occasion, the efforts of the national leadership were appreciated. The participants commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team for their measures aimed at economic stability, public relief, and diplomatic achievements. Furthermore, the professional leadership and services of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and his team for national security were acknowledged and appreciated.
The participants also noted that Pakistan has consistently played a responsible role in promoting peace and stability in the region, particularly in efforts to help ease tensions between Iran and the United States. In this regard, the balanced, prudent, and proactive diplomacy of the national leadership was appreciated, which has contributed to reducing tensions, encouraging dialogue, and fostering peace in the region.


Deputy Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan, while thanking the guests, stated that such gatherings not only strengthen mutual connections but also serve as an important platform for positive and constructive dialogue. He reaffirmed the commitment that Parliament will continue to play its effective role in addressing public issues and ensuring the country’s development and stability.
