A high level delegation comprising Syed Nadeem Shah Honorary Consul general of Japan lead the delegation including Syed Feroz Shah advisor Board of investment, Syed Haris Shah, and Dr. Syed Talha Shah visited the Gujranwala Business Centre (GBC) on the Centre’s special invitation. The delegation was warmly welcomed by GBC Chairman, Mr. Ahmad Ikram Lone, along with other esteemed associates of the organization.
The Gujranwala Business Centre, inaugurated in 2010 by former Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, operates under the Ministry of Industries and Production. GBC has been a hub for promoting local industries and fostering economic growth in the region.
Exploring “Made in Gujranwala” Enclosure
One of the standout features of the visit was a guided tour of the “Made in Gujranwala” Enclosure. This two-floor exhibition highlights the diverse industrial sectors thriving in Gujranwala, including textile, ceramics, sanitary products, home appliances, food, and more.

Representatives from various industries welcomed the delegation and provided detailed briefings on their business operations, current market impact, and future plans. The delegation was also presented with souvenirs, reflecting the craftsmanship and innovation of the local industry.
Adding a unique touch to the exhibition, a stall by students of GIFT University showcased hand-made souvenirs. The students shared their creative business ideas, reflecting the entrepreneurial spirit of the younger generation.

A key highlight of the visit was a session with Gujranwala’s business community, where prospects of establishing business and friendly relations with Japan were discussed. Syed Feroz Shah and his brother, Syed Haris Shah, addressed the participants on this subject.
