Japan International Press Club Recognises Mian Ramzan Siddique’s Services to Pak-Japan Friendship

TOKYO: The Japan International Press Club presented a special award to Mian Ramzan Siddique in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the successful organisation of the Pak-Japan Friendship Festival and his dedicated efforts to promote friendship, cultural understanding and people-to-people relations between Pakistan and Japan.

The award was presented during a special dinner hosted by Irfan Siddiqi, President of the Japan International Press Club, which brought together prominent political, social, business and community figures from the Pakistani community in Japan.

The special award was jointly presented to Mian Ramzan Siddique by Irfan Siddiqi, President of the Japan International Press Club; Sheikh Kaisar Mahmood, former Overseas General Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N); Malik Noor Awan, President of PML-N Japan; and Asad Nawaz, Advisor to the Chairman of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF).

Participants at the gathering highly appreciated Mian Ramzan Siddique’s contribution to the Pak-Japan Friendship Festival and praised his efforts to bring Pakistani and Japanese communities closer through cultural and community activities.

Speakers said that initiatives such as the Pak-Japan Friendship Festival provide an important platform for showcasing Pakistan’s rich culture, traditions and hospitality to Japanese society. They noted that such events also help strengthen mutual understanding and goodwill between the people of Pakistan and Japan.

The participants also acknowledged the important role of the Pakistani community in Japan in promoting a positive image of Pakistan and strengthening bilateral friendship at the grassroots level. They emphasised the need to continue organising cultural, social and community programmes that create stronger connections between the two countries.

Mian Ramzan Siddique expressed his gratitude to the Japan International Press Club and the community leaders for recognising his services. He said the honour would further encourage him to continue working for the promotion of friendship and cultural ties between Pakistan and Japan.

The gathering concluded with participants congratulating Mian Ramzan Siddique on receiving the special award and expressing their commitment to further strengthening unity within the Pakistani community and building stronger and lasting relations between Pakistan and Japan.
