Pakistan observed Kashmir Solidarity Day today to express unwavering support for the Kashmiri people in their struggle for self-determination under United Nations resolutions. A massive rally was held in Islamabad from the Foreign Office to D-Chowk, with participation from key government officials, political leaders, and the public.


The rally was led by Parliamentary Secretary for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Anwar Ul Haq, while Minister for Petroleum, Musadik Masood Malik, was the chief guest. The demonstrators raised slogans in support of Kashmir, including “We want freedom,” “Kashmir will become Pakistan,” and “Pakistan Zindabad.” Participants also carried banners condemning Indian atrocities in Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Addressing the rally, Acting Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Kashmiri people diplomatically, politically, and morally. Minister for Petroleum Musadik Malik strongly condemned human rights violations by Indian forces and reiterated Pakistan’s stance against India’s illegal occupation.

Chairman of the Kashmir Committee, Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, urged the United Nations to implement its resolutions for a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute. Deputy Convener of APHC AJK Chapter, Farooq Rehmani, expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its continued support for Kashmir’s cause.
To mark the occasion, posters and billboards highlighting Indian atrocities in Kashmir were displayed at key locations, including airports, railway stations, and major roads. The rally concluded peacefully at 11:00 AM, with police contingents ensuring security.
