The Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has significantly contributed to the country’s positive image on the global stage. This was stated by Syed Feroz Alam Shah, Board Director and Vice Chairman of the Pak-Japan Business Forum (PJBF) and Honorary Advisor to the Board of Investment, Pakistan, during a recent conversation.
Shah noted that the pavilion has been widely appreciated by international visitors for its captivating presentation of Pakistan’s culture, economy, and technological achievements. He emphasized that the central theme of the pavilion, titled “Pink Salt”, has sparked immense interest among attendees from all over the world. “What many people didn’t realize,” he added, “is that this unique and engaging theme is an original creation of Pakistan. It is a source of pride for us to showcase such creative innovation on this platform.”
Syed Feroz Alam Shah highlighted that Pakistan’s presence at such a prestigious global event reflects not only the country’s growing potential but also its readiness to engage with the international community on a broader scale. “Expo 2025 is a tremendous opportunity to tell our story—of creativity, resilience, and progress,” he said. He expressed hope that the strong and appealing presence of the Pakistan Pavilion would attract international investors and open new avenues for economic cooperation.

He further stated that such initiatives play a critical role in reshaping Pakistan’s soft image. “When the world sees the real Pakistan—rich in culture, brimming with talent, and striving for innovation—it builds new confidence in our nation,” Shah remarked.
Appreciating the collaborative efforts behind the pavilion’s success, Shah acknowledged the vital role played by both the Pakistani community in Japan and the country’s official institutions. “This achievement is the result of a collective vision and coordinated execution,” he said. “From design and logistics to content and cultural presentation, every element has been a product of careful planning and passionate commitment.”
He added that the Pakistan Pavilion is more than just a display—it’s a symbol of the country’s aspiration to become a key player in the global economy through creativity, culture, and connectivity. “We have shown that Pakistan is not just a destination of history and heritage, but also of innovation and opportunity,” he concluded.
The Expo 2025 Osaka, set to officially open in April 2025, is expected to host millions of visitors from across the world. With its unique theme and interactive exhibits, the Pakistan Pavilion is poised to leave a lasting impression, enhancing diplomatic ties and inviting global interest in the country’s economic potential.
