Embassy of Pakistan Hosts Welcome Dinner for Pakistani Students in Japan

Tokyo, October 20 — The Embassy of Pakistan in Japan organized a warm and vibrant welcome dinner in honor of newly arrived Pakistani students pursuing higher education across Japan. The event brought together a large number of Pakistani students, alumni, and representatives from various universities, creating an atmosphere of unity and pride for the Pakistani academic community in Japan.

Cabinet members of the Pakistan Students Association Japan (PSAJ), along with their Japanese professors and mentors, attended the gathering. The event also saw participation from faculty and Japanese students studying Urdu at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS), symbolizing the growing cultural and linguistic connection between the two nations.

In his remarks, the Ambassador-designate of Pakistan, Mr. Abdul Hameed, welcomed the students and encouraged them to act as ambassadors of Pakistan through academic excellence, discipline, and cultural engagement. He praised their efforts in strengthening Pakistan-Japan relations through education and cross-cultural understanding.

The evening concluded with a dinner featuring traditional Pakistani cuisine, allowing participants to share experiences, build networks, and celebrate the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Japan.
