The tournament, organized by the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), drew national-level players, coaches, and families from across the country. In his address, Syedal Khan Nasir lauded Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President PTF, for his distinguished service to tennis and for bringing international recognition to Pakistan. He noted that Mr Qureshi’s visionary leadership and mentorship have strengthened tennis from the grassroots up.

The Deputy Chairman also commended Salim Saifullah Khan for providing institutional stability and strategic direction, crediting him for helping elevate Pakistan Tennis Federation’s standing. He proudly highlighted that Pakistan has moved from Group C to Group A in global rankings — a historic leap underscoring national dedication and young athletes’ skill.

He emphasized that the Government and Parliament remain committed to youth and sports development through infrastructure, institutional backing, and new opportunities. Seeing players from Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, South Punjab, and Sindh, he said, proves that Pakistan’s sports talent extends across all provinces.
“Sports are not just about victory or defeat,” he told the participants, “they teach discipline, honesty, tolerance, and character.” He urged young athletes to consider themselves Pakistan’s ambassadors, adding, “Your success is Pakistan’s success.”

Concluding, Syedal Khan Nasir expressed confidence that under the Federation’s professional management, tennis will continue to flourish and enhance Pakistan’s international profile. He thanked organizers, coaches, and parents for their tireless support, praying that “Allah bless Pakistan with progress, prosperity, peace, and success.”
