In his address, Syedal Khan emphasized that from Khyber to Karachi, the singular identity uniting all Pakistanis is the nation itself. He described traders as the “backbone of any country,” stressing the importance of encouraging women’s participation in trade organizations. He assured the attendees that the government’s foremost priority remains the resolution of traders’ longstanding issues, with promising announcements expected soon.

He lauded the resilience of traders, noting their sacrifices and unwavering courage in difficult times, and pledged that his office would remain open to them at all times. Paying homage to the martyrs of Pakistan, he underlined the unmatched patriotism of the people of Balochistan, pointing to Gwadar as the city that would ultimately “change Pakistan’s destiny.”

He reiterated that just as the Pakistan Army had demonstrated its supremacy by defeating India militarily, the country would now assert its strength economically. His speech resonated with a call for breaking the backbone of terrorism and foiling the designs of Pakistan’s enemies.
On the occasion, Acting President of ICSTSI Sheikh Tayyab Saeed reminded participants that homeland is the source of identity for all citizens. With 60,000 traders, including 3,000 registered members, the Chamber demanded a stronger role in policymaking.
