Imran Khan’s Political Affairs Coordinator, Amjad Khan Niazi, Expresses Deep Concern Over Rising Fuel Prices

ISLAMABAD: Amjad Khan Niazi, Coordinator to the Patron-in-Chief and Founding Chairman Imran Khan on Political Affairs, has expressed serious concern over the recent hike in petrol and diesel prices announced by the government.

In a strong reaction, Niazi stated, “A petrol bomb has been dropped on the people in the darkness of night. This isn’t just a price increase — it’s outright economic robbery against the masses.”

He criticized the repeated imposition of taxes and mini-budgets, saying, “One budget after another, and tax upon tax — the common man’s life has been made miserable. The poor are already crushed under the weight of inflation, unemployment, and helplessness. Such cruel decisions are unacceptable.”

Niazi warned that inflation in Pakistan has already reached dangerous levels, and the surge in fuel prices will lead to a domino effect across all sectors — including transportation, food, medicine, and other essentials of daily life.

He added, “Instead of providing relief to the people, the government continues to burden them with policies that serve only elite interests. What kind of governance ignores public suffering and responds with further oppression?”

Amjad Khan Niazi emphasized that under Imran Khan’s leadership, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has always prioritized the welfare of the public. “We will raise our voice against this cruel price hike and continue our struggle to liberate the people from this economic slavery.”

He called upon the government to immediately roll back the fuel price increase and announce a comprehensive public relief package that can ease the economic hardships faced by the people of Pakistan.

Niazi concluded by reaffirming PTI’s commitment to fighting for economic justice, accountability, and a fair system that uplifts the underprivileged rather than punishing them for the failures of the ruling elite.
