Acting Chairman of the Senate, Syedal Khan, held a meeting in Quetta with former Senator and ex-Member of the National Assembly, Nawab Mohammad Ayaz Khan Jogezai. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed in detail. A comprehensive review was conducted on the natural resources of Balochistan and their optimal utilization, as well as the development initiatives being undertaken by the government for the prosperity of the province.
The Acting Chairman of the Senate stated that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in collaboration with all coalition partners, is taking special steps to ensure the development and prosperity of Balochistan. He emphasized that the province is rich in natural resources, and there is a need to utilize these resources effectively to drive the province—and consequently, the country—toward progress.
Syedal Khan further stated that the federal government is providing all possible support for the development of Balochistan and the resolution of public issues. He remarked that the development of Balochistan is directly linked to the development of Pakistan, and the wise use of natural resources can significantly strengthen the economy of both the province and the nation.
He also stressed that the youth are the future of the country and that a comprehensive strategy is being formulated to integrate the talented youth of Balochistan into the national mainstream. Nawab Ayaz Khan Jogezai praised this policy, stating that providing better educational facilities, vocational training, and employment opportunities to the youth will not only bring prosperity to the province but also promote national unity.
Meanwhile, the Acting Chairman of the Senate, Syedal Khan, also met with Malik Abdul Wali Kakar, former Governor of Balochistan and Senior Vice President of the Balochistan National Party. The discussion focused on the challenges faced in the development and prosperity of Balochistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Syedal Khan emphasized that all political parties and stakeholders must adopt a unified approach for the progress and prosperity of Balochistan. He stressed that solutions to the province’s issues must be found through mutual understanding and that joint efforts should be made to eliminate backwardness by setting aside differences.
He stated that through collective efforts, not only can Balochistan’s progress be ensured, but the prosperity of the entire country can also be achieved.
The Acting Chairman concluded by stating that Balochistan is one of the most important provinces of Pakistan, and with effective strategies and proper utilization of its natural resources, not only the region but neighboring countries can also benefit. He added that the development of Balochistan is key to a brighter future for Pakistan, and for this goal, both national and regional leadership must work together to address the province’s deprivations and bring it at par with the more developed regions of the country.
